The Wicked Villa is located on a working vineyard, winery and olive grove. Created for two adults intent on luxury and indulgence, with a cheese platter on arrival and a gourmet breakfast hamper complementary.
With sweeping views down across the Olive Grove, the upstairs balcony offers stunning sunsets, marvellous morning mist and copious cloud watching.
The red brick building was once a still house for an earlier Rutherglen winery. The building has been re-purposed and renovated, creating a two storey villa with a vast bedroom and gorgeous bathroom downstairs. The huge bath invites a long leisurely soak, before sinking into the king size bed.
The spiral staircase leads up to a full kitchen and a lazy lounging area. Artworks from local artists, and quirky collections offer interest and a relationship to the building. Television, music and board games are there if you need diversions from total relaxation.
A private courtyard on the eastern side has a barbeque and a cool spot on hot summer afternoons. Situated next to the cellar door of Calico Town Wines and The Wicked Virgin Olives, the design of the building allows privacy and the sense of being away from everything.
Only two kilometres from the Rutherglen township, making it easy to take advantage of local restaurants in the evening or relax at home in your villa in the country with a babeque or a meal arranged with us in advance.
The Rutherglen - Corowa leg of The Rail Trail runs along the bottom of the Olive Grove allows an easy stroll into town or to cycle if that is your style.
The Wicked Villa is designed for privacy, pleasure and pampering.
