Tastes of Rutherglen is on Saturday March 12th and Sunday March 13th. This is Rutherglen’s ultimate wine and gourmet food event. With award-winning wineries partnering with leading regional chefs and producers, Tastes of Rutherglen is the perfect way to sample the best of what our region has to offer
This event not only showcases Rutherglen’s outstanding wines and food, it also gives you the chance to get behind the scenes at many of our wineries to learn about the history and hard work that goes into making our world class wines.
For the fit and enthusiastic, Rutherglen Rotary will be running their annual Triathlon on Sunday 13th March and when you have finished there make sure you pop into the Rutherglen Farmers Market and refuel your body with beautiful fresh locally grown produce .
Easter Egg hunts are also a highlight for the kids while the adults can relax and enjoy some wine tastings.
Easter is a time to relax with family and friends; we have plenty of accommodation styles available ranging from motels, B&B’s, self-contained units and camping grounds.
Cycling is also popular with the Rail Trail leading to different wineries and produce spots. This easy going ride is the best way to make the most our beautiful autumn weather. Bike hire is available at Rutherglen Wine Experience and Visitor Information Centre for $50 full day or $35 half day.
High Country Harvest - May 13th to 22th at various towns throughout North East Victoria.
The High Country Harvest festival arrives in May, and our famous Tweed Ride is on again! Calling all chaps, dandies and bon vivants, join us for a weekend of cycling revelry and divine food. Don your best vintage fashion for the 10km ride punctuated by three simply scrumptious food and wine stops! Saturday 14 May, 10am-4pm.
$110 includes all food, wine, marshals and sag wagon!
