
2009 Future Leaders Announced – Nicole Esdaile Rutherglen Estates

The Wine Makers Federation of Australia has just announced the 2009 participants for the Future Leaders – Succession for the Australian Wine Sector leadership and development program. Included in the list of 15 participants from across the industry is Nicole Esdaile, Chief Winemaker at
Rutherglen Estates.
The Futures Leaders program is a joint initiative of the Winemakers Federation of Australian, the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation, the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation and Wine Grape Growers Australia, with the programs founding partner, WBM Australia’s Wine Business Magazine. The program will commence in May 2009 and will run for six months and has proven to be very successful in 2007 and 2008 with a number of graduates going to take up leadership roles in the industry at regional, state and national levels.
CEO of Rutherglen Estates, Phil Chamberlain stated, “we are very pleased and excited that Nicole has been recognised and included in this program which bring together industry participants from across Australia. Nicole will have the opportunity to develop and increase her knowledge and leadership which will be passed onto others in our organisation and the rest of the Rutherglen Region.”
