The Green Living Fair

Explore the sustainable living options that are available locally, while enjoying great food and entertainment. This FREE community event on Septmeber 20th 2009 will host over 20 exhibitors, including Landcare, local organic producers, alternative building methods, green energies, an information booth and free children’s activities with a focus on the environment and recycling. Free information sessions will be held throughout the day, demonstrating what you can do in your own home to make a difference.  Also see sustainability through the eyes of the comunity at the "Green Living Art Exhibition", funded by the Regional Arts Fund. This exhibition will feature unique art and sculptural works using recycled materials.

The Fair will be held at Valhalla Wines, Wahgunyah - a straw-bale built winery using green power, worm-composting toilets and recycled waste water.
