Inaugural Pfeiffer Wines Art Show now on!

The inaugural Pfeiffer Wines Art Show has generated a great deal of interest with the public, since it opened on December 27th at the Wahgunyah winery.  Thirteen artists and 28 pictures are vying for the People’s Choice Award, which is being voted on by visitors to the cellar door.    

The Pfeiffer Wines Art Show celebrates the work of artists who visited the winery in 2009 and painted, drew, sketched or photographed their favourite winery scene – be it the natural bush setting, the historic buildings or the century old wooden bridge.   The Pfeiffer Wines Art Show runs until January 26th at the winery in Distillery Road, Wahgunyah, from 9am – 5pm Mon thru Sat and 10am – 5pm Sun.  

‘A visit to Pfeiffer Wines over the holiday period is the perfect time to sample and purchase some of the award winning Pfeiffer wines or to just enjoy a cheese platter or pre-booked picnic hamper.  Visitors are also able to wander down to the picturesque Sunday Creek Bridge to spot the long necked native terrapin and the shy platypus or just enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of this idyllic winery.
