Rutherglen Strikes Gold!

All the excitement of bygone days when the word “Gold” was on everyone’s lips will be recreated in Rutherglen in 2010.

The Rutherglen Apex Club is the promoter of the event with great support from the major sponsor - “Parker Pies”.

The fun kicks off with an official launch to be held at the Rutherglen Wine Experience on the roundabout at the eastern end of town at noon on Saturday 13th March.

Local MP and long time resident Ken Jasper will open the celebrations and launch the gold activities that will be taking place in Rutherglen in 2010 and culminating in September.
